Precision Coatings Inc.® announces compliance with LEED NC Version 2.2

Precision Coatings® PC3 acrylic aliphatic polyurethane finish coats and DTM corrosion resistant high build modified epoxy and aliphatic polyurethane primers are compliant with LEED NC version 2.2. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a recognized standard for the material selection, construction and renovation of sustainable green buildings. Precision Coatings PC3 is less than 50 grams per liter VOC in all solid, metallic and iridescent colors. DTM1300 modified epoxy surface tolerant and corrosion resistant primer is less than 100 grams per liter VOC. DTM3000 aliphatic polyurethane corrosion resistant primer is less than 50 grams per liter VOC.

PPG Amercoat Products Less than 100 Grams per Liter

Coatings West is pleased to announce the growing acceptance of PPG Amercoat products featuring less than 100 grams per liter VOC. PSX 700 polysiloxane-epoxy finish coat, Amerlock®2/400 VOC surface tolerant epoxies, Amershield® VOC aliphatic polyurethanes, Amercoat® 68HS VOC organic zinc primer, Amercoat®133HB epoxy tank lining, Dimetcote®21-5 inorganic zinc and all Nu-Klad® epoxy floor coating products are all under 100 grams per liter meeting South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Rule 1113 requirements for the four county Los Angeles basin.
